ISAIAH 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has annointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to all [physical and spirtual] captives and the opening of the prison and the eyes to those who are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion- to give them an ornmament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment (expressive) of praise instead of heavy, burdened, and failing spirit-that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong and magnificent, distinquished for uprightness, justice and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

Calling those things that be not as though they were

Our biggest fight is not with Satan but with our own mouths. Have you ever really took a step back to listen to the words that come from your mouth, because what you believe is evidence in what you say. Are you speaking faith or doubt? If the Word of God says it then, why do we struggle to believe it? We cannot chose to believe what we feel like believing. Often times, I will stop and just listen to what people are saying, and more times I hear doubt rather than faith. Words of doubt spew out of our mouths so much easier than words of faith. Why is that? It comes down to TRUST. If we TRULY trust God and TRULY trust the Word of God, then we would have no dilemma, when it came to speaking in faith or speaking with doubt. Often times I hear people say things to one another then say 'well you know I was just joking" but I challenge that statement by saying scripture say that "out of the abundance of your heart your mouth speaks" so therefore you weren't really joking. We often use that phrase a lot to avoid confrontation, however "out of the abundance of your heart your mouth speaks. So what you believe is what you speak.

When it comes to circumstances or crisis are you going to focus on your situation that is contradicting the Word of God, or are you going to focus on the Word of God. God's Word must move us, and not the fat that you have zero dollars in your bank account and have 5 bills due. Being moved by God's Word, and not the fact, your spouse or kids are not living for God at the moment. Where lies your trust? Is your trust in God who says He will never leave you nor forsake you, or is your trust in your current economic situation or in your job? Is your trust in God who says that by Jesus stripes you WERE healed, or in the doctor who just gave you month to live? Is your trust in God who says that if your delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart or is your trust in the world?

You see trouble has an expiration date-- it is temporary- things that you go through are temporary. Your attitude as to be ' this to shall pass"

My husband and I have been in situations that were hard and looked like we were never going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We first got married and following the voice of God, we moved to Texas and at the time neither one of us had a job at the time we moved. My husband soon got a job at a car dealership, working 12 hours days, sometimes 6 days in a row, and if he did not sell a car, then he did not get paid. It was super hard seeing bills come in the mail and yet no paychecks at times. I wanted to throw in the towel, and yell, and throw a temper tantrum about how not fair my situation was. We were being obedient to the voice of God yet hardly making ends meet. Instead, we remained focus on God's Word, allowing that to motivate us as well as only speaking God's Word. We did not look at our checkbook and speak doubt about not meeting our bills. Instead we looked at our checkbooks and spoke money cometh to us in Jesus name. We spoke faith and not doubt. I remember one time we had just change in our pockets and zero dollars in our back account ant my husband turned to me saying lets go before the Lord and we are not getting up from our knees until we hear from Father God. We did just that and wouldn't you know that God spoke to our hearts very clearly to get into our car (which had just enough gas to get my husband to work the next day) and drive. We did not know where to drive or why we were driving but we chose to be obedient and be moved by God's Word and not doubt. As we were driving a man approached us, he was stranded without any gas money and all he requested was some change. I looked at my husband and he looked at me, and we immediately handed him our last bit of money. For a moment, I wanted to doubt, but I knew what I believed and I knew doubt was not going to win. God so softly whispered... "trust in my Word..." We gave our last bit of change away and drove back to our apartment. We went to sleep that night, knowing we were obedient to the voice of God, yet not knowing where our next bit of money was going to come from. That same week I received a job offer making more than Louis and I were believing for as well as he received a much better paying job, thus resulting in more money coming into our hands than we ever imagined. I tell this story, because my husband and I had a choice to do it the easy way or the hard way. You might be thinking well, you both did it the hard way, but I disagree. We did it with God. What if we were not obedient? We had a choice and yes at the time it was hard, but what mattered was that our trust was in God and nothing else.

Whatever situation you are in right now; this to shall pass. Your trouble has an expiration date. The Word of God is still alive and working.
Your lack is subject to change!
Your debt is subject to change!
How you feel in your body is subject to change!

We have to do our part and speak the Word of God, calling those things that be not as though they were. If you speak more about the problem, then you are saying that you believe the problem more than you believe God's Word. We have to make it up in our mind, that we are going to speak what that problem is OR speak the Word only I often say that you can tell what a person believes by what they speak.

Declare the things that you desire. God desires us to have the best. In Luke 16:19-21 you read about a beggar. This beggar desired just the crumbs, yet what he did not realize was he could have had more than just the crumbs. What do you desire today? Crumbs... or all that God has for you..

We have the authority over lack, poverty, over sickness and disease. Faith is why we can have peace in the midst of a storm. The world does not understand why we get increase in the middle of a recession.

God calls us to call things that be not as though they were. The world was formless and He spoke, and it happened. Everything you see in because God spoke it. We have to imitate God.

So I ask you today, What words are coming from your mouth? Words of Faith or Words of Doubt? Where is your trust? Trust in God or trust in the World?
